So these nations were fearing Yehovah, and served their carved images, both their children and their children’s children. As their fathers did, they are doing to this day.

2nd Kings 17:34-41


412) And the fear of Elohim was on all the reigns of the lands when they heard that Yehovah had fought against the enemies of Israel. Then the reign of Yehoshaphat was at peace, for his Elohim gave him rest on all sides.

439) Although a sinner is doing evil a hundred time, and his life is prolonged, yet I know that there is good to those who fear Elohim, who fear before Elohim. But it shall not be well with the wrong one, nor would he prolong his days as a shadow, because he does not fear before Elohim. There is a futility which has been done on earth, that there are righteous ones who get according to the deeds of the wrong. And there are wrong ones who get according to the deeds of the righteous. I said that this too is futile.

440) Do not allow your mouth to cause your flesh to sin, nor say before the messenger of Elohim that it was a mistake. Why should Elohim be wroth at your voice and destroy the work of your hands? For in much dreaming and many words there is futility. But fear Elohim.

441) And let the righteous see the fear, And laugh at him, saying, “See the man who did not make Elohim his strength, But trusted in his many riches, Being strong in his destruction.” But I am like a green olive tree In the House of Elohim, I have trusted in the loving-commitment of Elohim Forever and ever.

Should you not walk in the fear of our Elohim because of the reproach of the nations, our enemies? “And I also, I, my brothers and my servants, am lending them silver and grain. Please, let us leave off the interest!

Nehemiah 5:7-10


446) Also, from the day I was commanded to be their governor in the land of Yehudah, from the twentieth year until the thirty-second year of King Artahshasta, twelve years, neither I nor my brothers ate the governor’s food. But the former governors who were before me laid burdens on the people, and took from them bread and wine, besides forty sheqels of silver. Their servants also oppressed the people, but I did not do so, because of the fear of Elohim.

Nehemiah 5:14-15


447) The Spirit of Yehovah shall rest upon Him — the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Yehovah, and shall make Him breathe in the fear of Yehovah. And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, nor decide by the hearing of His ears. But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, and shall decide with straightness for the meek ones of the earth, and shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and slay the wrong with the breath of His lips. And righteousness shall be the girdle of His loins, and trustworthiness the girdle of His waist.

448) And He shall be the trustworthiness of your times, a wealth of deliverance, wisdom and knowledge. The fear of Yehovah — that is His treasure.

455) And they taught in Yehudah, and with them was the Book of the Torah of Yehovah. And they went around into all the cities of Yehudah and taught the people. And the fear of Yehovah fell on all the reigns of the lands that were around Yehudah, and they did not fight against Yehoshaphat.

456) And he appointed judges in the land in the walled cities of Yehudah, city by city, and said to the judges, “Watch what you are doing, for you do not judge for man, but for Yehovah who is with you in the matter of right-ruling. “And now, let the fear of Yehovah be upon you. Guard and do it, for there is no unrighteousness with Yehovah our Elohim, nor partiality, nor taking bribes.” And in Yerushalayim Yehoshaphat also appointed some of the Levites and priests, and some of the chief fathers of Israel, for the right-ruling of Yehovah and for dispute. Then they returned to Yerushalayim. And he commanded them, saying, “Do this in the fear of Yehovah, trustworthy and with a perfect heart:

457) ‘And He brought us out from there, to bring us in, to give us the land of which He swore to our fathers. ‘And Yehovah commanded us to do all these laws, to fear Yehovah our Elohim, for our good always, to keep us alive, as it is today. ‘And it is righteousness for us when we guard to do all this command before Yehovah our Elohim, as He has commanded us.’

Deuteronomy 6:23-25

459) Then they returned, every man of Yehudah and Yerushalayim, with Yehoshaphat in front of them, to go back to Yerushalayim with joy, for Yehovah had made them rejoice over their enemies. For with us there are more than with him.

461) And His disciples said to Him, “You see the crowd is thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ” And He was looking around to see her who did this. And the women, fearing and trembling, knowing what was done to her, came and fell down before Him and spoke to Him all the truth. And He said to her, “Daughter, your belief has healed you. Go in peace, and be relieved from your affliction.” As He was speaking, they came from the ruler of the congregation’s house, saying to him, “Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?” But having heard the word that was spoken, Ye’shua said to the ruler of the congregatation, ‘Do not be afraid - only believe.”

2 Chronicles 5:31-36


462) And Ye’shua answering, said to them, “I shall ask you one question too, which if you answer Me, I also shall say to you by what authority I do these: “The immersion of Yohanan, where did it come from? From heaven or from men?” So they reasoned among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He shall say to us, ’Then why did you not believe him?’ “But if we say, ‘From men,’ we fear the crowd, for all hold Yohanan as a prophet.”

Matthew 21:24-26


463) Ye’shua said to them, “Did you never read in the Scriptures, ’The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief corner-stone. This was from Yehovah, and it is marvelous in our eyes’? “Because of this I say to you: the reign of Elohim shall be taken from you and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits of it. “And he who falls on this stone shall be broken, but on whomever it falls, he shall be pulverised.” And the chief priests and Pharisees, having heard His parables, knew that He was speaking of them. And seeking to lay hands on Him, they feared the crowds, seeing they held Him to be a prophet.

464) And Ye’shua cried out again with a loud voice, and gave up His spirit. For look, I am saving you from afar, and your seed from the land of their captivity. And Jacob shall return, and have rest and be at ease, with no one to trouble him.

Jeremiah 30:7-10
