Godliness (Reverance)

Favour and peace be increased to you in knowledge of Elohim and of Ye’shua our Master, as His Mighty-like power has given to us all we need for life and reverence, through the knowledge of Him who called us to esteem and uprightness.

2nd Peter 1:2-3

then Yehovah knows how to rescue the reverent ones from trial and to keep the unrighteous unto the day of judgement, to be punished,

2nd Peter 2:9

But according to His promise we wait for a renewed heavens and a renewed earth in which righteousness dwells.

2nd Peter 3:13

Seeing all these are to be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be in set-apart behavior and reverence, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of Elohim, through which the heavens shall be destroyed, being set on fire, and the elements melt with intense heat!

2nd Peter 3:11-12

For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the set-apart command delivered unto them.

2nd Peter 2:21

Titus 2:12

And indeed all those wishing to live reverently in Messiah Ye’shua, shall be persecuted.

2nd Timothy 3:12

But you, O man of Elohim, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, reverence, belief, love, endurance, meekness.

1st Timothy 6:11

If anyone teaches differently and does not agree to the sound words, those of our Master Ye’shua Messiah, and to the teaching which is according to reverence, he is puffed up, understanding none al all, but is sick about questionings none verbal battles from which come envy, strife, slander, wicked suspicious, worthless disputes of men of corrupt minds and deprived of the truth, who think that reverence is a means of gain — withdraw from such. But reverence with contentment is great gain.

1st Timothy 6:3-6

But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise yourself rather to reverence. For bodily exercise is profitable for all, having promise of the present life, and of that which is to come.

1st Timothy 4:7-8

And, beyond all question, the secret of reverence is great — who was revealed in the flesh, declared right in Spirit, was seen by messengers, was proclaimed among nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in esteem.

1st Timothy 3:16

First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be made for all men, for kings and all those who are in authority, in order that we lead a calm and peaceable life in all reverence and seriousness.

1st Timothy 2:1-2

For sadness according to Elohim works repentance to deliverance, not to be regretted, but the sadness of the world works death. For see how you have been saddened according to Elohim — how much it worked out in you eagerness; indeed, clearing of yourselves; indeed longing; indeed, ardour; indeed, righting of wrong! In every way you proved yourselves to be clear in the matter.

2nd Corinthians 7:10-11

Rather, we commend ourselves as servants of Elohim in every way: in much endurance, in pressures, in hardships, in distresses, in strips, in imprisonments, in disturbances, in toils, in watching, in fastings, in cleanness, knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Set-apart Spirit, in love unfeigned, in the word of truth, in the power of Elohim, through the weapons of righteousness, on the right and on the left, through esteem and disrespect, through evil report and good report; regarded as deceivers, and yet true; as unknown, and yet well-known; as dying, and see, we live; as disciplined, and yet not killed; as sad, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet enriching many; as having none, and yet possessing all.

2nd Corinthians 6:4-10
