256) Although a sinner is doing evil a hundred times, and his life is prolonged, yet I know that there is good to those who fear Elohim, who fear before Him. But it shall not be well with the wrong one, nor would he prolong his days as a shadow, because he does not fear before Elohim.
Ecclesiastes 8:12-13
257) And besides these, my son, be warned — the making of many books has no end, and much study is a wearying of the flesh. Let us hear the conclusion of the entire matter: Fear Elohim and guard His commands, for this applies to all mankind! But if I overcome him and shall strike him, then you shall be our servants and serve us.” Then the Philistines said, “This day shall reproach the armies of Israel. Give me a man, and let us fight together.” And Sha’ul (Saul) and all Israel heard these words of the Philistine, and they were broken down and in great fear.

To this day they are doing according to the former rulings; they are not fearing Yehovah, nor do they follow their laws or their right-rulings, or the Torah and command which Yehovah had commanded the children of Jacob, whose name He made Israel, with whom Yehovah had made a covenant and commanded them, saying, “Do not fear other mighty ones, nor bow down to them nor serve them nor slaughter to them; but Yehovah, who brought you up from the land of Egypt with great power and with an outstretched arm, Him you shall fear, and to Him you shall bow yourselves, to to Him you shall slaughter. “And guard to do forever the laws, and the right-rulings, and the Torah, and the command which He wrote for you. And do not fear other mighty ones. “And do not forget the covenant that I have made with you, and do not fear other mighty ones. “But fear Yehovah your Elohim, so that He delivers you from the hand of all your enemies.” And they did not obey, but did according to their former ruling. So these nations were fearing Yehovah, and served their carved images, both their children an their children’s children. As their fathers did, they are doing to this day.

290) “But now hear, O Ya’aqob My servant, and Israel whom I have chosen. Thus said Yehovah who made you and formed you from the womb, who helps you, ‘Do not fear, O Jacob My servant, and Yeshurun, whom I have chosen. ‘For I pour water on the thirsty, and floods on the dry ground. I pour My Spirit on your seed, and My blessing on your offspring, and they shall spring up among the grass like willows by streams of water.’

292) Your eyes shall see the King in His comeliness, see a land that is far off. Your heart ponders fear, “Where is the scribe? Where is he who weighs? Where is he who counts the towers?” No longer shall you see a fierce people, a people of too deep a lip to hear, of a jabbering tongue no one understands.
